Hi. I use an inkjet printer for work and creative stuff. I know that there are recycling services for ink cartridges, and I presume there are for toners as well.
But what about toner refills? I’ve heard you can buy kits, where you drill a hole in the toner or something, and refill it yourself, saving yourself money and saving the toner from being thrown in landfill..
Anyone know any more about this? |

Old bulbs- throw them, or use them?

Hello,
If you have a lot of old bulbs piled up, is it more eco-friendly to use them all first before getting energy saving bulbs, rather than throwing them away in the proper manner?
Is seems a waste to put these things in landfill or even a recycling facility, and I am worried that they might leak chemicals? Should I use up all the old bulbs? |

I’m a novice at the gardening and I would love a thread for tips on how to do it effectively and with all-green ways, ie how to keep a balance of insects (eg, some people suggest making a pond to make the bio-system more complex and self-policing).
Please, if you have skill and experience in this area, post below, we would all be very grateful for it. |
