Although the exposure to underdetermined chemicals is a factors, many scientists believe there are other factors associated with CCD (Colony Collapse Disorder). Researchers believe CCD is also brought on by colony stress associated with Climatic factors, poor agricultural practises as well as the continual transportation of bees around the U.S. This is leading to an increase in parasitic infections and disease amongst the bees. I think organic farming and letting the bees live as nature intended (not transporting them everywhere) will go a long way towards safeguarding the future of our ecosystems and food supply.
Climate Change sceptics

I’m really interested in sites that educate the public about Climate Change and what we can all do to minimise our impact.

Lately, I’m frustrated with the press because they are taking two erroneous scientists opinions (about the melting Himalayan Glacier and the stronger Hurricanes) and using that to undermine all of the other scientists opinions.

The fact remains that the vast majority of scientists still concede that Climate CHange is still very real. To deny it is the easy way out. It is less hassle for us to all keep our big cars, stick with fossil fuelled energy tariffs but the truth is, the arctic and antarctic ice caps are still melting and sea levels are rising.

I think it is important to keep the sceptics viewpoints in perspective.
